Waiting....

The definition of waiting - the action of staying where one is or delaying action until a particular time or until something else happens.

Well, I guess that really is what I am doing?  WAITING!!!!!!  This is the part that they don't really tell you about in all the pregnancy books.  The waiting will literally start to drive you insane (that's all the chapter would need to say).  But what can you do. A baby comes when they are good and ready.  

I have realized that over these last 39 weeks of my life I have had no control.  Which is a very scary and new thing for me.  I truly feel that I am just getting starting with this "no control" thing.  As I laugh a little about this because for those of you who really know me, understand that I am not a control freak but just like to have things in order to the best of my ability.   Who am I kidding... I am a Control Freak... 

Well as we start this three day weekend, hopefully the NBA All-Star Weekend festivities will get Miss Addison moving, or maybe a good old fashion Purse Party or some Church on Sunday (which is her due date).  Either way.  I will keep all you dolls and guys posted.  

But until then we all WAIT!!!!!!!!

The Waiting Mommy w/ the Cankles...

Just a quick post this evening as we are approaching 1 week out until our due date.

Miss Addison is already showing how she is walking to beat of her own "drum".  She will not be rushed.  What can I say she is her mother's daughter.  But we are ready to meet her.  I truly believe God knew that 9 months was the breaking point for a woman to be pregnant.  The swollen cankles (I mean ankles)... are just not fun any more.

But as everyone has said, it's all worth.  So as we wait for our little girl to arrive.  I will continue to keep my feet elevated and rest. Which let's admit is a very foreign concept to me.
