Truly Blessed...One Year Later

WOW... what a difference a year makes.  As we end our 21 day fast; I am still in amazement of how things have come full circle.  What more can I say, I am TRULY BLESSED. Words just don't even do it justice, but I believe the above picture says it all.

3 weeks from today we should be welcoming out baby girl Addison Faith into this world (unless she plans on coming early or later). But either way we can't wait to meet her.  As I am still working on Thank You Cards (yes making each and every one of them). I wanted to stop to publicly and personally Thank EVERYONE for all of the wonderful gifts and love shown to not only Jimmie & I, but our baby girl, Addison.

To Danit, Sheila and Corey - Ladies what more can I say... THANK YOU (your cards are in the mail). I had a great time at the shower... The food was GREAT!!!!!!!! I am truly blessed to have you ladies in my life and everyone that attended and couldn't attend. I love ya!!!!

To the Ladies of Bethel Church - WOW!!!!! You blow me away.  It has truly been a blessing to have each of you in my life.  You have made these 2 1/2 years of waiting such a journey.  I thank you all for the shoulders, hugs and just your wonderful hearts as I shared with you.

Most importantly... To the Toothpaste Club

Ladies... You know who you are... You will forever hold a special place in Jimmie & My heart; but most importantly; Addison's heart. I truly believe she will have a special bond with each of you ladies. I can't wait for her to meet each and everyone of you.

Okay... enough... I am sitting hear in tears.... (which doesn't take much these days)... Who knew I was such a cry baby after all.

But on a much happier note... Let's have this baby already....

21 Days

I know it's not protocol to announce that you are fasting.  But I have to admit I am so excited about what God is going to do this year.  Last year when Pastor Allen called us to a 21 day fast. I had no idea how it would change my life.  I had fasted before, but I truly was in a place where my heart was available to hear what the Lord had in store.

Now the time has come again and I am sooo excited.  God tells us to test and try him and he will prove himself.  And my friends he did just that in 2010.  When Jimmie and I started our fast it was for God to give us the desires of our heart.  To bless our home with a child and God did just that.  Addison will be here in just about 6 weeks (and we just can't wait).

2011 is already starting off to a good year but now me and Jimmie are expecting so much more.  So as I enter into this fast (starting tomorrow).  I am truly going in expecting great things; but not just for Jimmie and I, but the ones we love (i.e. friends and family).  But most important that we are the best parents we can be to our little girl Addison.

God we can't wait for what you are about to do and we just say Thank You in advance!

Feeling extremely blessed...

6 weeks and counting

Well it's 2011 and we are just about 6 weeks away from our Baby Girl's arrival.  Weird.  Every time I say that I still can't believe it's really happening.  Amazing how after 2 1/2 years of trying and being unsuccessful things have seemed to work out.  Just like everyone said it would.  How did they know?  I guess that's what Faith is all about right?

No matter what Jimmie and I are just thrilled, tickled pink (and brown) and feeling blessed.  Yet it doesn't come without some anxiety.  Which I am sure some of my recent new mommies would agree; that feeling never goes away.  So you just take it all in stride.

These next 6 weeks are going to be fun filled baby showers, putting the final touches on our house as we prepared to add to our family.  I am not really sure how our two babies (Isaiah and Ebony - yes our dogs) are going to adjust but it's going to be a good time figuring it out.  We have been playing baby sounds for them and it's hilarious to see their reactions.  I think we are getting a kick out of it more.  As you can see Ebony is still trying to figure out what is going on in there.  LOL

Well whatever the case may be in the next 6 weeks are very excited to meet our little girl and can't wait for the roller coaster to begin.
